2025 International Summer School of Sedimentology
11th International Summer School of Sedimentology
North West Wales 4-12 July 2025
This is an excellent opportunity for postgraduate students (mainly PhD students) from New Zealand to learn about the long and varied geological history (from Precambrian to Recent) of this part of the United Kingdom, with a focus on sedimentary rocks that span different continental and marine environments and all climate zones.
The Summer School is almost entirely sponsored by the International Association of Sedimentologists. We only ask a small contribution from each participant to cover part of accommodation and subsistence. Each approved participant will have the opportunity to apply for a travel grant from the IAS.
