PhD: Critical Minerals

PhD: Fingerprinting critical minerals development in continental margins

Funded PhD position at the University of Queensland, Brisbane, Australia

Summary

This project will study how critical minerals develop in the Andean-type plate margins through case studies in eastern Australia. The expected outcomes are results that characterise signature minerals in a polymetallic minerals province in Far North Queensland.

This project is part of Australian government’s iPhD (industry-linked PhD) program through CSIRO, which offers a competitive scholarship package (about 25% higher than regular PhD stipends) and rich professional development opportunities.
