Tribute to Jack Grant-Mackie (1932 – 2021)
Jack Grant-Mackie died on the 20th February this year. His funeral was held at Waikumete Crematorium on February 26th where his life was celebrated by his family, colleagues and former students and members of the many groups with which he was associated.
The GSNZ wishes to compile a tribute to Jack, who was a Life Member and former President of the Society. This will be a stand-alone digital GSNZ Miscellaneous Publication with limited printing of hard copies planned for a nominal price of $15–20 per copy (incl. GST and postage). The final price will depend on the level of interest and the number of written tributes received.
Donald MacFarlan has agreed to act as Compiler. In terms of style and content, it will be similar to the dedicated GSNZ Newsletter Issue 19A (2016) compiled by Cam Nelson in ‘Remembering Bob Carter’.

Deadline for tributes is 30 September 2021.
Publication is planned for towards the end of 2021.
