Request for rocks
Is your rock collection getting a little too large?
Have you got surplus rocks, fossils or related equipment that could help inspire kids to take an interest in geoscience?
One of our members is currently developing an outreach programme for schools and is looking for donations of anything that could be used for hands-on geoscience-focused outreach activities and demonstrations. From textbook-identifiable hand specimens to curious boulder-sized conversation-starters, they're after anything that kids can use to make observations and interpretations and learn about the Earth!
