Friends of the Pleistocene is a multidisciplinary group with a common interest in the Quaternary Period. Interests include palaeoenvironmental and palaeoclimate proxies; dating techniques including tephrochronology; ocean-atmosphere- cryosphere processes and modelling.
Our main activities are conference sessions and meetings, seminar series, and semi-annual field-trips.
