Te Henga Beach geology, low tide 4.15pm

Sunday, 21 September 2-4pm

Leader Bruce Hayward

Moderately easy, walk on sand and also wade stream mouth.

Meet at beach car park.

Takapuna fossil forest, low tide 2.45pm

Wednesday, 24 September 2-4pm

Leader Bruce Hayward

Moderately easy, wear footwear suitable for rocks, some rock clambering on reef and track.

Meet at car park boat ramp north end Takapuna Beach.

Geological heritage of Pukekohe

Saturday, 27 September 2-3pm

Moderately easy short walk and talk.

Meet at gazebo on hilltop in Vape Hill Reserve.

Three Kings Volcano

Sunday, 28 September 2-4pm

Leader Bruce Hayward

Relatively easy, mostly walking on gravel or sealed paths, includes ascent of Big King.

Meet at car park entrance to Big King Reserve, cnr Mt Eden Rd and Duke St.

All walks will proceed regardless of the weather, come dressed appropriately.
