Te Ara Tupua Alliance with Michael Paine, Andrew Kennedy and Sam Fox.

This presentation will provide an overview of the physical and technical challenges in delivering resilience improvements to the transport corridor between Ngā Ūranga and Pito One in Wellington. The new 4.5 km section of the Te Ara Tupua pathway that hugs the coastline on the western edges of Te Whanganui a Tara will provide safer transport choices to connect the Hutt Valley and Wellington as well as improve the resilience of the transport corridor to seismic and coastal hazards.

Pre-lecture social event sponsored by the NZ Coastal Society, Backbencher Gastropub, 5:30-6:45pm.

The NZCS will provide a selection of nibbles but people will have to buy their own drinks. Please advise if you intend to come along so we can determine catering requirements - wellington@gsnz.org.nz

This event will also be live streamed, but in-person attendance is strongly encouraged https://vuw.zoom.us/j/97146921154
