New insights into the fossil Mesozoic marine reptiles of North Canterbury, with George Young, postgraduate student from the University of Canterbury
Marine reptile fossils have been found throughout the Cretaceous rocks of the northern South Island since the 19th century. In his talk, George will discuss a new species of Zealandian ichthyosaur, as well as a redescription of the holotype of Prognathodon waiparaensis.
